Slovenia- very pretty but too many traffic jams!

Woke up in the sunshine again and reluctantly said goodbye to the seaside before setting off to Austria. We have decided not to stay the night in Slovenia and try to get to Graz before dark. Slovenia was just as we expected - a hotter Slovakia, but with even more traffic jams. It’s really beautiful though, incredibly green. There are church crowned villages surrounded by patchworks of lush emerald meadows. I had always imagined Austria covered in snow, obviously since it's September its not, so I was kinda disappointed, but it's still really pretty and we have seen some snow-capped mountains so I cant really complain! Also seen some really big holes under some really long bridges, been through some really long tunnels and been charged a fortune for tolls! Graz doesn’t have any hostels or camp sites in the centre so we've ended up staying pretty far out of town, but the hostel's cool, it has a huge climbing wall - bit random! Have seen a youngish guy in full lederhosen out on the town – full points to him!
